This year's logo for the International Toy Fair was a colorful pinwheel growing out of the ground like a flower. It was really a cross-breeding between a flower and a pinwheel. A pinwheel with leaves, if you will.
So I built one of these large planted pinwheels as well as dozens of other smaller pinwheels. I then spent a few days in the lobby of the Toy Fair encouraging folks to take a "creative break" from their busy Toy Fair doings, and build a pinwheel-flower. I would then plant their pinwheel-flower-creation in the pinwheel-flower-garden-area. Fortunately, hundreds and hundreds of folks took me up on it, and we filled up the garden with numerous pinwheel-flower-amalgamations.
It was a good time, and I got to meet folks from all over the world. As you can see, there will all sorts of designs. By the end of the Toy Fair the garden was like a vibrant flower patch of vivid colors, that or Rainbow Brite threw up on the lawn.
