I was honored to be a part of the Children's Specialized Hospital gala, where I displayed a LEGO model of the new hospital facility to be built in New Brunswick, New Jersey. I built the model based on the architect's various renderings of what the building will look like when completed. It was a challenging build, trying to capture the curves and corners of the architect's vision, but I was happy with the result. Although I built most of the model in the weeks before the event, I saved the top floor for the actual event, and enjoyed finishing it off while I spoke with the many wonderful guests. This event was the first time I built something while wearing my tuxedo. Due to the enthusiastic response I received from the guests, I now build everything while wearing my tux.
